Pharmacy grads soar high in July 2015 licensure exam

Adamson University's College of Pharmacy graduate's gained outstanding results in the licensure board examination for pharmacists conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last July 19, 2015 in Manila, Baguio and  Davao.


The university achieved an overall passing rate of 85.71%. The first-take examinees gained an even better results as 28 out of 29 adamsonians passed.


This milestone will add-up to the many Pharmacy students who succeeded that Adamson has produced. It will be a great indicator that the university is proving that they provide quality education to everyone.


The oath-taking of the new registered pharmacists will be set to a later date according to PRC. 1,292 out of 2,295 have passed the examination

In line with the recent suspension of classes regarding the water interruption, Adamson University cleared that the resume of classes will be today, August 12, 2015. Contradict to what Balitanghali posted on the show that confuses the students.


Balitanghali, upon receiving the information immediately clear the misleading information that they posted earlier on the show. Adamson University posted on their twitter that any suspension will be made on their official twitter account (@AdamsonUni) and through AdU text blast system.

INC leaders used multimillion airbus, now on sale

Multi-million worth airbus 330-220 owned by the religious group, iglesia ni cristp that was used to accommodate the leader’s trips to abroad is now out in the market for sale


 Last February, the INC leader also used the airbus to go to Seattle, Washington to do pastoral visits.According to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the aircraft left Manila last June 21 and returned from Taiwan on July 5.  Executive minister Eduardo Manalo went to Taiwan to officially institute the country as an ecclesiastical district.  The aircraft is parked at Angeles City and reported that it hasn’t left the Philippines since the last trip to Taiwan.


  The use of “excessive luxury” of the leaders has received blast criticism by Iglesia followers since the funds goes to unimportant wants rather than the needs of the members


 The institution that was founded a century ago which is now being led by EraƱo’s son, Eduardo, is now facing the most controversial crisis that they have encountered.

PNoy, nag-ulat ng kanyang ika-anim na SONA

Muling nag-ulat ng kanyang ika-6 at huling State of the Nation Address si Pangulong Benigno “Pnoy” Aquino III noong Hulyo 27 sa Batasang Pambansa sa Quezon City at inihayag ang mga napagtagumpayan ng kanyang administrasyon nitong mga nakaraang taon ng kanyang pamumuno.

“Aking mga boss, ito ang storya ng ating lakbay tungo sa tuwid na daan”, ito ang panimulang salitan ng pangulo bago niya sinimulang ipaalala ang mga anumalyang naiwan ng nagdaang administrasyon na siyang kinailangan nilang resolbahin.

Ipinagmalaki ni PNoy ang patuloy na tagumpay sa pagsugpo ng mga corrupt sa kanyang “Daang Matuwid” na kampanya. Kanya ring inulit na “Kung Walang Corrupt, Walang Mahirap” at ibinahagi ang pag-unlad at pag-angat ng ekonomiya ng bansa.

Binigyan rin niya ng papuri si Commissioner Kim Hinares sa patuloy na pag-imbistiga sa mga tax evaders sa bansa. 380 na kaso na an gang naisampa at umabot na sa 1.3 trillion ang nakolektang pera.

Bumaba rin ang unemployment rate sa 6.8 % noong nakaraang taon. Pinaka-mababa sa loob ng isang dekada

Iginiit rin ni Aquino na hindi sapat ang sampung taon na pag-aaral at hindi rin ito dapat minamadali. Iminungkahi ng gobyerno ang P103.2 milyon para sa  libro at P4.4 milyon para sa upuan.

Mayroon ng 4.4 milyong benepisyaryo ang ‘Pantawid Pammilyang Pilipino Program’ mula sa 786,523 noong 2010. Tuloy parin ang planong pagbili ng mga bagong bagon ng MRT at ang pagsasaayos ng pasilidad nito

Sinabi rin ni PNoy na “Panahon na para ipasa ang isang Anti-Dynasty Law” na nagging sanhi ng malakas na sigawan at palakpakan ng mga panauhin. Hiniling din ng pangulo na maipasa na ang Bangsamoro Basic Law ng kasalukuyang kongreso

Pinuri rin niya si Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas at sinabing “Mar, pinatutunayan mo, you can’t put a good man down.” At idinagdag na dapat ituloy ng susunod na administrasyon ang tuwid na daan.

Tumanggap ng 146 na palakpak ang pangulo galling sa mga lawmakers at bisita. Itong ika-anim at ika-huling SONA ang pinaka-mahaba na nagtagal ng dalawang oras at labinlimang minuto na nagsimula eksatong ika-apat ng tanghali.

President Benigno "Pnoy" Aquino III delivers his 6th and final State of the Nation Address last Monday, July 27 at Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City to report all the accomplishments that his administration achieved for the past years of his leadership.

"My bosses, this is the story of our journey along the straight path," Aquino said as the opening of his speech, he also recalled all the issues that his predecessor left to him that his administration had to resolve. 

Aquino boasts all his administrations achievements in fighting corruption with his “Daang Matuwid” campaign. He again imposed in his speech that “Kung Walang Corrupt, Walang Mahirap”. He also showed the economic boom that our country has achieved. 

He commended the dedication of Commissioner Kim Henares on thorough investigation of tax evaders in the country. 380 cases of tax evasion have all been filed and the collection went up to 1.3 trillion.

Unemployment rate dropped to 6.8% last year. The lowest in a decade. 
Pnoy also insists that having a 10-year educational program is not enough and should not be crammed. The government proposed budget for 2016 is P103.2 million for the textbooks and P4.4 million for the chairs.

'Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program' now consists of 4.4 million beneficiaries from 786,523 in 2010.

Regarding with the still unresolved problem with the rail system, MRT, Aquino said plans of purchasing new coaches is still push through as well as the upgrade of facilities. 

PNoy wish to pass the Bangsamoro Basic Law by the Current Congress. When the president said, "Panahon na para ipasa ang isang Anti-Dynasty Law." The crowd erupts with cheers. 

He praised Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas. "Mar, pinatutunayan mo: You can't put a good man down." And added that the next administration should continue the righteous path. 

President Aquino receives 146 applauds from the lawmakers and guests. This 6th and final SONA has been the longest the runs 2 hours and 15 minutes that started at exactly 4:00 in the afternoon.

School bus collides with private car; 1 severely hurt

An accident happened in EDSA-Guadalupe last Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 4 in the afternoon. Involving a private car and a school bus. The victims were rushed to Ospital ng Makati. One of the victims who severely hurt is the driver of the private car known as Ms. Cynthia Dela Cruz, 43, an employee of PLDT, while the students occurred minor injuries.

According to the bus driver, Jose Manalo, 35, the road is slippery because of the rain that resulted to his sudden stop. The statement of Ms. Dela Cruz also supported the driver's claim and add that her car abruptly had trouble with its break. The driver insist that it is an accident cause by a mechanical error.

Police Station Chief, Sr. Insp. Elmerson Badilla of Makati Central Police Station is still investigating if mechanical error is the real cause of the accident.

The university whose bus was involved in the accident gave financial support to those who are hurt and promises to shoulder all their expenses. Sr. Insp. Badilla reminded the drivers and motorists to take extra care and drive slowly especially if there are rains since the rain get slippery to prevent this kind of accidents. 

Banggaan ng pribadong sasakyan at school bus sa EDSA Guadalupe, 1 malubhang nasaktan

Isang banggaan ng pribadong sasakyan at school bus ang naganap noong Hulyo 2, 2015, Huwebes, sa ganap na ika-4 ng hapon sa kahabaan ng EDSA Guadalupe. Agad na isinugod sa Ospital ng Makati ang mga biktima. Isa sa mga malubhang nasaktan ay si Cynthia Dela Cruz, 43, isang empleyado ng PLDT samantalang ang mga estudyanteng sakay ng bus ay nagtamo lamang ng minor injuries.

Ayon sa drayber ng bus, madulas raw ang daan na naging sanhi ng kanyang biglaang pag-preno. Sa pahayag na binigay ni Gng. Dela Cruz, nagkaroon ng problema ang preno ng kanyang sasakyan kaya hindi agad siya nakaiwas. Iginiit naman ng drayber na ito ay aksidente lamang sanhi ng mechanical error.

Patuloy parin ang pag-iimbestiga ni Police Station Chief, Sr. Insp. Elmerson Badilla kung mechanical error nga ba talaga ang sanhi ng aksidente. 

Nagbigay naman ng tulong pinansyal ang unibersidad na nagmamay-ari ng bus na nasangkot sa aksidente sa lahat ng nasaktan sa aksidente at nangakong aakuin ang lahat ng gastusin ng mga biktima. Patuloy parin ang pagpapa-alala ng mga pulis na bagalan lamang ang takbo lalo na kapag maulan ang panahon upang makaiwas sa kahit anong aksidente.
